Reno-K (Renovation)

A full-scale renovation project of a house that the client has lived in since childhood and inherited from his parents. Taking care not to makeover the whole house so as to erase any fond memories, we aimed to create a totally different atmosphere like that of a hotel lounge. The size of the windows were kept mostly the same, while adjusting the design balance with the exterior. For the interior, solid materials and luxurious lighting fixtures were selected. A request for a study space in one corner of the room was built divided in space by using different materials for the flooring as well as creating a difference in the height of the ceiling. The interior design is in harmony with the greenery in the garden that the parents were very fond of. The table was custom designed by our office, and the furniture was carefully selected for the total interior design coordination.
